Not only support but appropriate care is given to a new mother by trusted family members or the wisdom holders and healers of the community. Traditional care often includes warming therapies, bodywork and herbal medicine.
For mothers who have an organised village of support and wish to receive specific traditional postpartum bodywork and treatment as part of the initial weeks after birth. Home visits honouring each phase of postpartum recovery with appropriate care, in reverence of your transforming body, mind and spirit as a mother.

Intuitive and traditional postpartum care and bodywork in your home for the first month after birth. Applying the principles of warmth, support and nourishment whilst considering the energetics of postpartum, we support and honour the transforming body with appropriate care and treatment. Every woman is different and treatments are adapted to your birth, body, needs and desires. We follow both intuition and guidance whilst working with the body to allow the mind and spirit to anchor deeper into the experience of motherhood. No matter how the birth and postpartum is unfolding, there is always an opportunity to receive and benefit from postpartum specific care.
2-hour visits in home, including medicinal herbs and oils.
This is a guide on what treatments could look like over the weeks.
Note this is only an example and treatments vary based on a woman's story, body and needs.
First & second week: foot massage, yoni steam or herbal bath, gentle womb massage and wrapping
Third & fourth week: moxibustion/castor oil pack, full body oil massage, rebozo wrapping
Fifth & sixth week : warming therapy, full body oil massage, rebozo bodywork/adapted "closing of the bones"
